Meet the Founder

Founded in 2020 by its creative and founding director, Snegugu Tshabalala, umaKunene, the creative urge led her to create this unique clothing line with non repetitive designs that accommodate all shapes and bodies. While the main focus presently is with the ladies, the range will slowly grow to gents as well.

Tahnie Designs specializes in clothing apparel, footwear, clothing accessories, leather and fabric bags as well as household accessories. Rooted in African heritage and driven by sustainable innovation, the brand is known for blending tradition, creativity, and modern elegance.

Blending premium afro textiles, wool and leather, it’s renowned for its attention to details and originality, the house creates bespoke wedge footwear, crafted from genuine leather and exotic materials, offering a seamless balance o elegance, comfort and bold designs While pioneering the use of pure lamb skin on footwear and bags.
